“Humano” Polyclinic – Radiology
Radiology is a medical specialty that uses all methods of medical imaging to acquire information about the anatomy, pathology, histopathology and the function of painful conditions. Radiology primarily deals with identifying diseases and injuries, i.e. diagnostics. Its application in treatment is limited to treating mainly malignant diseases, but also cardiovascular and other disorders.
An ultrasound examination is nowadays an irreplaceable diagnostic method that is widely used for a timely detection of numerous pathological changes in the body. This method has not been proved harmful, there is no ionizing radiation or harmful effects on human bodies of the diagnostic doses, therefore, it can be repeated several times depending on the patient’s needs. The ultrasound device in “Humano” Polyclinic has multifrequency probes with HD resolution and hypersensitivity for Color Doppler imaging of both large and small blood vessels.
